BEYOND THE GLP-1 PRESCRIPTION
Fix your relationship with food.
Not just your weight.
GLP-1s can quiet the noise, but they don't address everything driving your eating. That's why the weight can come back the moment the medication stops. That's what we do together, so you keep the results, not just the prescription.

If you're reading this, you've tried "just eat less, move more." You've tried more diets than you can count. You've white-knuckled your way to weight loss before, only to end up with rebound weight gain... and then some.
You know this all too well.
Changing outfits three times because nothing fits the way it used to. The food noise that never seems to turn off, even when you're not hungry. Reaching into the pantry at 9 p.m. before you've even consciously decided to eat. Overeating after a long, stressful day, then promising yourself tomorrow will be different.
This has never been about a lack of willpower. This has never been about a lack of knowledge. It's about what's really running the show. Not a lack of discipline, but the stress, exhaustion, and patterns that have you looking for relief in food.

Whether you're just starting or already on one, GLP-1s are genuinely different. For a lot of women, they're the first thing that's quieted the noise enough to actually think clearly again.
Maybe you want to take the medication long-term. Maybe someday you don't. Either way, you shouldn't feel like your progress depends entirely on staying on it.
The goal isn't just to eat less. It's to build self-trust again. To understand what's driving your eating. To break the patterns that keep sending you back to food when things get hard, and stop fearing the weight regain.
That's not a mindset shift you make alone. It's the work we do together.
We go beyond the prescription.
Most GLP-1 providers write a prescription and disappear. I built my practice around something different.
The Foundations Program is three months of virtual care built for more than starting a GLP-1.
We use that window, less appetite, less noise, to work on what's actually driving your eating.
Your first visit: 60 minutes

We go deep: your history with food and dieting, what's worked and what hasn't, your medical background, and whether we need labs before starting or adjusting your medication.
Weeks 2–8: Bimonthly visits

As your body adjusts to the medication, we'll monitor how you're responding, make medication adjustments when appropriate, and work on eating patterns & habits.
Weeks 8–12: Monthly visits

As things stabilize, we step down to monthly visits while continuing to adjust treatment as needed and build the skills that help you maintain your progress.
Between visits

I'm available for direct messaging, whether it's a question, side effect, a rough day, or a win worth sharing. I don't want you to wait until your next visit.
Beyond 90 days
An option to continue care as needed. The goal isn't just to get you started. It's to get you to the lowest dose that works for you, or off the medication entirely if that's your goal, without losing what you worked for.
I'm a Doctor of Nursing Practice and board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner specializing in metabolic health, sustainable weight management, and the eating patterns behind it.
Trained through the University of Utah's weight management program and formerly a nurse practitioner at the Utah Diabetes and Endocrinology Clinic, I've worked with hundreds of patients navigating weight, nutrition, and metabolic health, and I've lived the diet cycle myself for more than a decade before finally understanding what was driving my own eating.
I hold a BS in Exercise Science and have built my career around a simple observation: most women who struggle with weight already know what to do. What they haven't been taught is how to respond to stress, urges, and cravings without automatically reaching for food, and how to restore their body's own hunger and fullness cues. Instead of relying on willpower, my approach uses brain-based solutions that address the psychology and nervous system patterns driving those behaviors.
Through SugarSmart Health, I combine GLP-1 prescribing with behavior-focused coaching, so results last well beyond the medication.

“I’ve learned to put myself first and gained a new confidence I didn’t realize I had. I don’t beat myself up over food anymore—I just do what’s best for me. I’m learning to rise up for myself, do the work, and be my biggest cheerleader. This program changed me in ways I never thought it would. I’m so grateful I took the leap!”

10/10 worth it. It’s a journey and I’m by no means done with that journey but I feel like I have the right tools to keep going on in the right direction changing habits I spent decades building

This helps you reframe the way you think about food. There is no demonizing food groups. I think everyone would benefit from taking it!
